World Lacrosse Championships 2014 – Standings so far

With the football world cup over, we can now fully concentrate on our very own world lacrosse championship that is happening these days in Denver. This much-awaited event started four days ago, on the 11th of July, and has been filled with great games and interesting scores!

A leader from each division has been picked, some of which have gone undefeated so far. These are the leaders of the nine divisions and their standings:

Blue Division – United States with 4 wins and 0 losses

Green Division – Netherlands with 2 wins and 2 losses

Grey Division – Czech Republic with 3 wins and 1 loss

Orange Division – Israel with 4 wins and 0 losses

Plum Division – New Zealand with 4 wins and 0 losses

Red Division – Germany with 4 wins and 0 losses

Turquoise Division – Finland with 3 wins and 1 loss

White Division – Scotland with 4 wins and 0 losses

Yellow Division – Ireland with 3 wins and 1 loss

These would also then be the top teams in the championship until now and we can definitely expect that one of these teams will very well take the trophy home with them. Just four days left until we get to see who is able to claim the title of champion for 2014!
